VholdR Announces "Configurable" ContourHD Wearable Camcorder

New Firmware Update Enables the ContourHD to Change Video and Audio Settings

Seattle, WA-January 4, 2010- VholdR, the market leader for HD Wearable Camcorders, is releasing a firmware update enabling their award winning ContourHD to configure its microphone volume, lighting and bit rate. ContourHD and ContourHD1080p are now the only wearable video cameras to put the power of configurability into the hands of the user.

"Being able to configure a wearable video camera is another step forward in making action video easy to capture and even better to watch," says Marc Barros, VholdR's CEO. "We are excited to bring this new functionality to our existing ContourHD customers, helping them better adjust their camera to any lighting or wind conditions they face."

The introduction of configurable settings means the user can manually set the microphone volume, contrast (high, medium, or low), metering (center, average, or spot), sharpness (high, medium or low), exposure (-4 to +4), and the video bit rate. By making a configurable bit rate, ContourHD customers can also expect even higher video quality, taking the camera's default bit rate from 6 Mbps to over 12 Mbps!
