Established in the year 1993, VJIM has been consistently in the ‘Top’ Business Schools category in India. Being located in the heart of the cultural and business life of Hyderabad, VJIM boasts of a sprawling campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure and global facilities.
“VJIM is committed to producing ‘locally fit’ and ‘globally sensitive’ managers,” says Dr. Kamal Ghosh Ray, Director, VJIM. “Having understood that Business Education has reached an inflexion point, VJIM has been quick in repositioning business education to create managers who can compete both with the world market and respond equally well within the local context of the Indian economy.” Naturally, it comes as no surprise that VJIM is known for having students come from extremely diverse backgrounds- more than 19 states’ students coming together in one classroom and thereby enriching the teaching-learning process in turn. Naturally, VJIM graduates are quick to adapt to changes and are efficient team players right to begin with.

Ltd (April, 2014) for some of its very unique and innovative concepts which contribute in boosting quality management education in India.
Among the few highly recognised initiatives of VJIM, the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) and its practice of Socratic dialogue of teaching-learning have gathered a lot of attention from both academia and industry. Furthermore, VJIM is among the first few B-schools to adapt to the reverse orientation process for second year students so as to reinforce the concepts taught in the first year.
VJIM, Hyderabad offers a large number of scholarships for meritorious students who may find money a constraint to quality education. Ones with 75 and above CAT/XAT percentile or 98-100 MAT-CMAT percentile are entitled to a scholarship sum of Rs. 1.50 lakhs.
