Viking Plastics Launches New Tethered HVAC Charge Port Cap

Online, July 16, 2010 (Newswire.com) - CORRY, Pa. (June, 2010) - Viking Plastics, a VPI Acquisition Corporation company and global supplier of engineered, injection molded and assembled sealing solutions for the automotive and HVAC industries, has launched a complete line of new tethered charge port caps used in automotive air conditioning systems. The line of threaded sealing cap assemblies will allow original equipment manufacturers to meet the SAE J639 specification requiring tethered caps.

The new line of products will expand the largest HVAC product selection in the marketplace. The patent-pending integrated shipping cap and tethered charge port cap assembly will fit onto a wide range of valve sizes, with the most popular being M8x1.0, M9x1.0, M10x0.75, M10x1.25 SAE and JRA style valves.

Viking Plastics has supplied air conditioning and fuel related threaded sealing assemblies to the automotive and appliance markets for 20 years.
