VIMOC Strengthens Executive Team With Appointment of President & Chief Marketing Officer


Mountain View, CA, April 18, 2017 (Newswire.com) - VIMOC Technologies, an innovator of smart infrastructure solutions and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, today announced that industry expert, Ali Sebt, has been appointed as President & Chief Marketing Officer.

Mr. Sebt previously was President of Renesas Electronics America, a division of Tokyo-based Renesas Electronics Corporation, one of the world’s leading semiconductor companies. He also served as the Senior Vice President of the Japanese parent company. Mr. Sebt was responsible for Renesas’ global IoT business unit based in Silicon Valley, Calif., where he provided the vision and leadership behind Renesas’ development of solutions for the evolving IoT economy. At Renesas, Mr. Sebt was responsible for leading the development and global launch of Renesas’ next-generation embedded solution, the Renesas Synergy Platform. Prior to Renesas, Mr. Sebt held engineering and management positions at Quickturn Design Sytems, Toshiba, AMD and Monolothic Memories.
