His selfless actions demonstrate how Gedman consistently puts residents before himself in order to support the Vintage Coventry family, and he is greatly respected by his peers and colleagues.

"Serving in the senior living field is a special calling," said Rick Grimes, president and CEO of the Assisted Living Federation of America. "ALFA Champions are ideal representatives of the hundreds of thousands of people who choose to serve and care for millions of seniors in a community environment. Thank you to each ALFA Champion and every big hearted, dedicated person committed to creating the future of senior living."

Each year, the ALFA Champion Awards recognize individuals who provide exceptional care to residents in senior living communities.
