Viral delicacies now served faster at both Concept Bakeries
Online, February 24, 2010 (Newswire.com) - DENVER (Feb. 25, 2010) -- Cross-Atlantic non-traditional marketing firm conceptbakery has seen an influx of high-profile clients looking to take a bite out of the guerilla marketing and social media cookie. Some recent projects include developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy for a German young adult fantasy novel "Schattenauge (Shadow Eye)" by Nina Blazon. In addition, software giant Microsoft has tapped conceptbakery to create web videos and build a Facebook fan page as a communication portal for its innovative DreamSpark initiative. The agency is also in the process of launching a major campaign for iconic American household cleaning brand Carbona.
"By building and maintaining our clients' presence on multiple online social networks, we are becoming their social media extension," said Klaus Holzapfel, conceptbakery USA managing partner. "conceptbakery and our clients are in it for the long haul. It's how we convey and market our role in project management."
In order to ensure success, conceptbakery has assigned individual social media community managers to various projects. These team members fulfill an entirely new role; not only are they experts in digital communication styles -- namely Facebook, Twitter, and other social media portals -- they also engage the client's relevant target audience with in-depth knowledge of the brand and services or products offered.
"This business is all about trust. Clients need to trust us because they are putting a brand that they've worked very hard to build into our hands and online communities that we engage with have to feel the sincerity of our engagement," said Klaus Holzapfel. "This is a challenging approach to maintain over extended periods of time, but we have long-standing success with clients and communities and I really believe that one of the most rewarding aspects of our line of work is the feedback we receive from both ends."
In addition to direct client projects for development and implementation of far-reaching social media campaigns, traditional marketing agencies from around the world have sought conceptbakery's expertise since 2002 in handling viral or social media aspects of their accounts, including social media crisis management.
"We are always willing to help and team up with other agencies or in-house marketing teams. Sharing our expertise has always been a part of our work. Our firm does a lot in this arena -- everything from public speaking engagements to workshops to reviewing existing social media programs," said Felix Holzapfel, conceptbakery Germany managing partner.
"Sometimes companies approach us at the 11th hour due to the lack of participation in one of their campaigns like, for example, little or no entries in a contest or sweepstakes. That's when we can come in and create some last minute stir. As a guerilla marketing agency, it is one of our core philosophies to be able to expedite and get things done very quickly."
To accommodate its growing business, conceptbakery USA has just moved into new office in Denver, CO. The German team is also relocating to a new space in Cologne, Germany that will double the square footage of the old offices. To guarantee speedier response times, conceptbakery has also enhanced their in-house graphic design and programming capacity. In the past, the agency has had great success in outsourcing some of its web design and graphic work, however, the current and ample workflow has necessitated the addition of more in-house specialists.
"We have a very dynamic team on both sides of the Atlantic. Despite the fact that we're growing fast, we're dedicated to maintaining our boutique style culture," said Felix Holzapfel. "Our team is like family to me. Keeping our unique culture also benefits our clients. It is simply more fun working with happy people that can handle their workload well and don't get stressed out easily due to an overly stressful work environment."
