ViralVet Reaches Landmark 10,000 Members
Our members live, and share cases from, around the globe, and have created a veterinary community as diverse as the animal kingdom itself.
SOLANA BEACH, Calif., September 18, 2017 (Newswire.com) - ViralVet, the free veterinary collaboration app has recently surpassed 10,000 community members. The easy-to-use app allows veterinary professionals to upload interesting, challenging, or unusual cases with photos and/or video. Users of the app are then able to comment on the case, “like” the case, or share the case with colleagues.
The app has enjoyed steady growth since its release approximately two years ago. “Since the development of the app, veterinary professionals from around the world have been able to see, share, and collaborate cases that they otherwise may have never seen in their careers. Veterinarians are able to help each other and connect at a mobile level which has never been done in the veterinary space,” says Dr. Mauricio Dujowich, DVM, DACVS, co-founder of XPrep Learning Solutions.

The robust infrastructure also allows for users to search by key words for specific conditions or general categories such as orthopedics. More recently, ViralVet has begun to allow select industry partners to have a subtle presence within the app to help defray the high costs of development and maintenance. The makers of ViralVet hope this strategy will help ensure that ViralVet remains free and accessible to the entire veterinary community. ViralVet was developed by XPrep Learning Solutions, the same group that is responsible for the highly-successful licensing exam review platforms, VetPrep and VetTechPrep.
