The nomination process is simple and asks nominators to describe briefly why this team of leaders deserves a Vision 2020 Equality in Action Medal. Vision 2020 is looking for examples of male/female shared leadership across the professions-from the corporate sector, the nonprofit world, faith-based organizations, and community and volunteer organizations.
Nominations are currently being accepted online through Sept. 6, 2011. All nominators receive a ticket to Kudos & Comedy. Medal recipients will be recognized on stage and through video during Kudos & Comedy, 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Oct.12, 2011, at Chase Tower in Chicago.
During Kudos & Comedy, renowned improv troupe The Second City will stage a special comedy performance. The event will be followed by a reception, where Vision 2020 Delegates-women leaders from all 50 states-sponsors, Chicago community leaders, and Vision 2020 medal recipients will have the opportunity to exchange ideas.
