Vital Online Studio Develops Multi-Currency Website For Global Lab Equipment Manufacturer

Online, April 23, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Yorkshire digital agency Vital Online Studio has developed an ecommerce website that recognises fluctuations in global prices so its client's customers get to see the most up to date costs.
The site has been built for Bibby Scientific, one of the world's largest manufacturers of laboratory products, and which Vital Online has worked with for the past eight years.
The new website sub-divides into four product areas and is seen as the next stage in Bibby's online jigsaw and complements its existing sites.

Andy Topps, Vital Online Studio sales director, said: "With an ever expanding product range, fluctuating market prices and an increasing global audience, Bibby Scientific once again looked to us to deliver the next piece of its online jigsaw.

"Our solution to overcome the issues of market price fluctuations saw our development team devise a method that allows a single point of data entry to not only reduce the site's administrative requirement, but to also allow users to see the most up to date prices.

"This was achieved through the creation of an XML file upload which takes data from an existing stock control system and uploads it to the so-called, 'shop window'."

The site provides a simple, no thrills experience, and with a user base that is familiar with the product range Vital saw little point in trying to reinvent the wheel and potentially alienate users to a competitor's site.
