Volubill Assists Sonatel with Launch of Multi-Play Packages for Increasing Customer Base

Online, September 16, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Volubill, a leading supplier of real-time policy control and charging software, today announced that Sonatel (Orange Senegal) has deployed Volubill's fully compliant charging software to manage traffic flow and launch new service packages for their growing subscriber base.
Due to an increasing mobile customer base, which reached 7.1 million active customers in 2012, up 17 percent from 2011, with approximately 99 percent of those customers using pre-paid plans, charging software was required to launch new attractively priced pre-paid plans. Multi-play packages have been introduced, including Orange Money and Bonus Zone, an offer which allows pre-paid customers to benefit from price reductions when calls are made to Orange numbers from zones where network usage rate is low.
