VP International Business Development

Online, November 29, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Hashem Kotby had been appointed VP for International Business Development in The Middle East, Africa, and Asia for CARDUSA, bringing with him 15 years of international working experience as a Telecom veteran, Media Consultant, and as an Entrepreneur across 4 continents (USA, EU, Africa, and Asia). He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from Cairo University, 1996.
Currently finishing his Dual Executive MBA from UCLA NUS -University of California Los Angeles "The Anderson School of Management" and the National University of Singapore" - that takes place in USA, Singapore, China, and India, being the first Arab African to be enrolled for this distinguished global EMBA program, May 2008. Mr. Kotby has held various engineering managerial positions in the telecom field with different major GSM operators, Mobile Holding Companies-"Mobinil, OTH & FT"-, VSAT-"NEC"-, Digital Switching-"AT&T and Lucent Technologies" - vendors and suppliers, Industrial Electrical Engineering for Avionics- "FRC Corp"-. Also, has worked in the media field directing and presenting talk shows on many satellite channels across the Middle East, as well as managing sales, marketing, PR , advertizing and business development activities for satellite channels. Prior to joining CARD USA Inc, he used to be the CEO of Econnect, the sole distributor for Redline Communications -"WIMAX Technology"-in the MENA region, a services and consultations company for GSM operators since 2003.
