VSCloud -Cloud Services From 0.78 EUR Per Day
Online, December 8, 2011 (Newswire.com) - On 15th of August, at a press conference, the unique cloud project named VSCloud was presented which provides cloud services of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) type. After three months, VSCloud can boast with hundreds of active users mainly from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The leadership of VSCloud foresees that the number of first thousand active users will be surpassed by the end of this year.
What are the advantages of VSCloud?
Simplicity
The servers in VSCloud can be „clicked through" in less than 5 minutes. After an authorisation by phone, the user's account is activated and a trial credit is added to it for trying out the service. The servers in the VSCloud web interface can be comfortably established, cancelled, changed as to performance in real time, and the load of the individual servers can be monitored.
Thanks to the pre-arranged self-installation templates, the whole full-range installation of the system (Linux and Microsoft Windows) is performed in a completely automatic way.
Dynamic character and operation of servers without drop-outs
Among the most fundamental advantages of VSCloud is the availability of adjusting any performance of the servers in VSCloud. If needed, the performance of the server can be increased or decreased immediately.
The VSCloud infrastructure is resistible against drop-outs of any physical parts of the cloud infrastructure. The users will not experience any planned maintenances as well, since, during the operation, their servers will be shifted to another part of the infrastructure. It is exactly the stability that can be considered as the greatest added value of VSCloud.
Added value - VSCloud is not just virtual servers
VSCloud is not just virtual servers in cloud environment with the advantages brought about by the cloud technologies. VSCloud gradually implements further functions that make them a unique complex service. Such required services are e.g. backup, monitoring, support of licensed products (operation systems, control panels, licensed database, accounting systems) and several others.
Multiplatform character
VSCloud supports Linux distributions (the self-installation templates are actually accessible for the distribution of Debian and CentOS) and Microsoft Windows.
Cooperation with strong partners
Thanks to VSHosting, VSCloud makes use of the partnership with the companies Parallels (gold partner already since 2008), Microsoft and others. The excellent data centre and the extensive international network infrastructure of the VSHosting company ensure a top technology background and high-quality connection to the rest of the world.
Example of use - server with the PLESK control panel
One of the implemented templates in VSCloud is Linux with integrated PLESK control panel thanks to which domains, databases, mailboxes and other components can be managed comfortably. VSCloud also allows the user to buy a licence for the PLESK system.
You just establish a new server in VSCloud, select a template with the pre-installed PLESK system, choose the password and name of server, and wait until the automatic installation of the server finishes. Then you just buy a licence and the server with PLESK can be used instantly.
More information can be found at www.vscloud.eu where, after registration, you can also try the VSCloud service free of charge.
