Online, November 14, 2009 (Newswire.com) - VueSoft has announced the release of VueMinder Calendar 5.5.0. This version adds innovative new features for visualizing schedules. Instead of the standard fare of only seeing event colors based on assigned calendar, this version allows switching between several display modes: calendars, categories, priorities, and locations.

This new feature allows the user to see, with a simple glance at the calendar, things like upcoming birthdays, important tasks, or events that occur at a particular location. Typically, finding this information would require scanning through the event titles or performing a search, but in this release, colors can be assigned to calendars, categories, priorities and locations. When switching between these display modes, via a single click of the mouse or keyboard, events and tasks are colored accordingly.
