Wanderlust and Lipstick Founder, Beth Whitman, to Speak on Niche Travel Writing for the Women's Travel Market at THETRADESHOW, THETRAVELBLOGGERSSHOW
Online, July 27, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Alexandria, VA - With so many travel bloggers getting into the game, it's important to focus on a specific niche, one in which you can become the expert in your field. Beth Whitman, founder of Wanderlust and Lipstick, a Website and blog network for women travelers, will join a panel of experienced niche travel bloggers to discuss best practices for standing above the crowd in your area of expertise. The panel will talk about ways to provide fresh, creative content to readers as well as some of the lessons learned during their years of blogging.
Joining Whitman are budget travel blogger Matt Kepnes, solo travel writer Janice Waugh and the Travel Authority, Jeanine Barone. Kim Mance of Go Galavanting will moderate.
THETRAVELBLOGGERSSHOW is the first of its kind to bring travel bloggers and industry professionals together to share and learn from one another. The event is being held in conjunction with THETRADESHOW, North America's number one travel trade show, and is sponsored in part by Tripatini.com.
In addition to the Website and blogs, Whitman writes the Wanderlust and Lipstick guides and offers tours to Bhutan, India, Vietnam and Cambodia. She will be adding Papua New Guinea to her tours in 2011.
Whitman's panel will held during THETRAVELBLOGGERSSHOW on Sunday, September 12 at 11 a.m.
