Wasp Barcode Technologies' Sales Executive Recognized as a Channel Chief by Everything Channel's CRN
Bryan Keepers honored for implementing and enhancing Wasp's successful partner programs
Online, February 29, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Wasp Barcode Technologies, a leading provider of small business productivity solutions, today announced that Bryan Keepers, sales director at Wasp Barcode Technologies, has been named a 2012 Channel Chief by Everything Channel's CRN. Channel Chiefs are leaders in creating effective channel programs for solution providers. Keepers was recognized by CRN for his outstanding business innovation and dedication to the partner community.
Now in its tenth year, the Channel Chiefs are among the most prestigious recognitions a company executive can receive. The goal of the Channel Chief program is to identify and recognize influential executives who consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies. This year's Channel Chiefs were chosen based by Everything Channel editorial on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.
Keepers was selected as a 2012 Channel Chief for his success in overseeing the company's channel partner activities and business development. Under Keepers' leadership, Wasp experienced a 14 percent sales growth year-over-year, sent over 14,000 leads sent to channel partners and implemented two new partner programs. Additionally, Keepers focused on staying relevant to partners as access to sales reps in the industry continues to shrink.
"I am honored to be named a Channel Chief," said Keepers. "This is definitely something my team and I can be proud of. We work hard and are dedicated to keeping our partners connected, but we are also fortunate to have such great partnerships that make it easy for us to do our jobs. I look forward to working with our partner community throughout this year and continuing the growth of our overall partner programs, as well as increasing revenue per partner."
Keepers joined Wasp in 2000 as the first salesperson hired and by 2005 he advanced to the position of North American sales manager. In 2008 he gained his current job title as sales director of Wasp Barcode Technologies.
