San Francisco-based Wearable World Inc. will host a Demo Day for its second graduating Labs class on Tuesday, September 30th, inviting media, VCs and tech enthusiasts for an exclusive viewing of emerging Wearable and IoT startups

Wearable World, Inc., the San Francisco-based media and ventures company, will host “Demo Day” for their graduating Wearable World Labs Summer 2014 Class on Tuesday, September 30th, from 12-4pm PST at Wearable World Headquarters in downtown San Francisco.

Wearable World Labs, founded in 2013, is the world’s first accelerator/incubator blend solely focused on wearable technologies and the Internet of Things (IOT). Labs Class companies are provided with the tools, technology, network, and mentorship to take innovation to a mainstream market.

"Wearable World Labs was created to foster the growth and drive innovation of the Wearables and IoT ecosystem. Each class brings such a unique blend of entrepreneurs and products that are thoroughly enjoyable to work with. We spend an intense 90 days together working on every piece of business and product between business/product development and prototyping, to meeting investors to building strategic partnerships with major brands. I can't tell you how humbling it is to work with each of them and to be a part of their growth as they enter the program on day one and graduate on day 90. I'm looking forward to continuing to watch them as they become the companies to know in our ecosystem."

Kyle Ellicott, CTO and Co-Founder

In its first year of operation, Wearable World Labs achieved a 90% fund rate and a 100% crowdfunding rate. Its first class raised more than $5 million in investor backing, and more than $2.5 million from crowdfunding. Indiegogo startup star and Wearable World Labs alumnus SKULLY is currently breaking crowdfunding records on Indiegogo, zooming past their funding goal in 6 minutes and surpassing the $1.9 million mark with 22 days left in the campaign.

The Summer 2014 Class is Wearable World Labs’ second graduating class, and includes a diverse array of companies ranging from fashion tech to healthcare to smart home devices.  The companies that will be demoing on September 30th include: Auralytics, CreoPop, Crowdrooster, Healium, InHome, Interface, Jon Lou, LEAPIN: DigitalKeys, Leikr, Loopd, MiriQ, Petbot, Pulse by Alva, Sensum, Stylematic, TOUCHPICO, and WIACTS.
