Wearplate on Tentec's Bolt Tensioning Tools Adds Flexibility and Reduces Ongoing Costs

Tentec's bolt tensioning equipment for wind turbines incorporates an innovative wearplate that can be quickly and easily changes on site.

The WTB multi-purpose wind turbine bolt tensioning tools from Tentec are all supplied with an innovative and unique interchangeable spacer at the base of the tool that gives this equipment the flexibility to be used on many different applications.

In contrast to many competitor systems on the market where the complete lower half of the tool needs to be replaced for particular applications or if wear and tear has caused damage, the Tentec system has been designed and profile cut so that only a wearplate needs to be replaced. This not only makes the WTB range more versatile, but also lowers costs as the wearplate can be quickly and easily changed onsite and the cost makes it feasible for spare plates to be part of the engineer's toolkit.
