Internal fraud is one of the most serious problems for an organization. Catching a thief who comes from outside is a lot easier than catching one who is within the organization. When employees become stealers, the organization is doomed for disaster, because silent and insidious stealing, especially that which relates to sensitive company information, can drain it of its vitals.

Unlike thieving from outside, which is sometimes overt; this kind of stealing goes undetected for a lot of time. It is estimated that a whopping three-fourths of the entire workforce may be involved in stealing from their organizations at different levels and in different ways. Stealing could be from blue collar as well as white collar employees, and it could be of anything from records to unfair claims to forgery and the like.
