Website Builder Launches Website of the Week competition
Online, July 14, 2010 (Newswire.com) - London, UK Website Builder WebEden, the service that shows anyone how to make a website (http://www.webeden.co.uk), has launched a weekly competition. Anyone using the website building service can enter their website design in order to be voted 'Website of the Week'.
WebEden recently launched a website building forum, where users can submit technical or design questions, and get advice from the WebEden community. Over 2 million websites have now been built using the WebEden Sitemaker system, so the forum has proved a popular destination for website builders.
UK MD Ken Builder said today: 'We realised that aside from asking technical advice, lots of users were submitting their websites to get design feedback from other website builders (http://www.webeden.co.uk). Users were keen to showcase their design to others. From that, we decide to launch a dedicated website of the week competition. Our users submit their websites, and the best ones get selected weekly. The winning designs are showcased on our blog, where they gain exposure to thousands of readers.
Aside from getting showcased on the blog, WebEden also promotes these websites through social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter.
Over 100 designs have already been submitted to the competition, with more entries coming every day.
