Globalization Partners International (GPI), a provider of comprehensive document, software and website translation services announced today that it has completed website development, localization and global SEO

Globalization Partners International (GPI), a provider of comprehensive document, software and website translation services announced today that it has completed website development, localization and global SEO for Surg+Restore, a 501(c)3 status charitable organization that operates a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Burn Unit in Makeni, Sierra Leone. The new website was developed using web content management system (CMS) WordPress and Responsive Website Design (RWD) in order to provide an optimal viewing experience with easy reading and navigation across a wide range of devices including desktops, iPads and smartphones.

"As 100% of our funds are directed to forming, financing, training and educating native Sierra Leonean medical personnel to maintain a sustainable Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Burn Unit in Makeni, we needed a lower cost, easy to deploy and maintain, blog-centric website for our non-profit organization," says Robert Scott Brown MD MPH, President of Surg+Restore. "We decided to use WordPress as our web CMS and design the multilingual website utilizing Responsive Web Design practices in order to allow our current and future donors to keep up with the charity in French, Arabic and English, and on any device whether PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone."

GPI's website localization services for non-profits may include:

Glossary Development
Document translation and multilingual desktop publishing
Deployment of GPI's Translation Portal (www.translationportal.com)
Website Content Management System Translation Connectors
Website Translation and Localization
Global Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Country-specific social media localization to help engage consumers across multiple channels

"With the high growth in the use of mobile devices, our clients are asking us about Responsive Web Design and how best to localize and search engine optimize a website at the same time ensuring exceptional visitor experiences across all screen sizes," says Martin Spethman, Managing Partner, Globalization Partners International. "Responsive Web Design, website translation and global search engine marketing should go hand-in-hand ensuring all language versions of a website display, can be found, and function across all platforms. Deploying lower cost website solutions that perform equally well across languages and platforms can really expand a charity's outreach to potential donors and supporters around the world."
