Online, July 24, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Chappaqua, N.Y. - Almost three months into the successful launch of Westchester's 16,000 square-foot premiere health and fitness club for kids of all abilities, WeeZee World of "Yes I Can!" has created a unique summer camp and an after school program, along with new pricing starting at just $150 per month.
"Our new programs and pricing plan creates opportunities for a greater number of kids to develop, exercise and strengthen their academic, athletic and social skills," said Louise Weadock, founder of WeeZee. "This is essential for children and is aligned with all the current research indicating that children are way too sedentary and lacking in activity."
The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development has suggested in their latest analysis that children in the U.S. are not active enough, which can lead to obesity and serious health problems later in life.
Sensational Summer Program
WeeZee's "Sensational!" Summer Program offers sports training and skill development activities, water fun, arts and crafts, music, outdoor activities and social/team-building games in an innovative and imaginative setting. The program runs through August 31st and is divided into two-week sessions with each week featuring a different theme such as Carnival Week, Olympics, Space Jam, etc. Children are grouped by age and participate in age-appropriate activities. WeeZee's dynamic after-school program, which will run from 3:00pm-7:00pm - Monday-Friday, is now accepting registrations for the fall for children ages 4-12.
