Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP Welcomes Back Veteran Attorneys Steven Cramer and Matthew Graham

Steven J. Cramer and Matthew F. Graham have rejoined Wendel Rosen as partners.

Steven J. Cramer and Matthew F. Graham have rejoined Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP as partners. Initially joining the firm in 2007 when Wendel Rosen combined with fellow Oakland law firm Aiken, Kramer & Cummings, Inc., Cramer and Graham departed to pursue a stint at another regional firm in Apr. 2010. They will rejoin Wendel Rosen's Business and Construction practice groups, respectively.

"Seasoned and talented attorneys are often presented with attractive career opportunities. Beyond their legal acumen, Steven and Matt are outstanding people. We are gratified they have come home and welcome them with open arms," said Wendel Rosen's managing partner Daniel Rapaport.

"It was hard to walk away from Wendel Rosen, but it's easy to return," added Cramer. "Our primary focus was to work with a firm that was a good fit for our practices and clients. The bottom line is that in the areas of business and real estate law, Wendel Rosen is a pillar in the Bay Area landscape, and this is right where we want to be."

Cramer will continue to serve the firm's business clients in the areas of commercial and real estate transactional matters. Bringing more than 25 years of experience, including serving as managing partner at Aiken, Kramer & Cummings, Cramer represents both buyers and sellers in public and private merger acquisitions and provides counsel to a wide range of clients, from national corporations to local enterprises, including energy generators and distribution companies. Cramer received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles (1983) and his B.S. from the University of Santa Clara (1980).

Graham is a construction litigator who represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, sureties and public agencies in a wide array of construction litigation throughout California and the Western states. Having served as chief litigation counsel in California for one of the largest general contractors in the U.S., he boasts a solid track record, having tried or arbitrated scores of construction disputes and successfully mediating countless more. Graham earned his J.D. from the University of San Francisco, School of Law (1980) and his B.A. from the University of San Francisco (1977).
