IT'S WOMEN'S TIME TO SHINE
At the "From A woman's Perspective" Symposium OF WOMEN'S HISTORY
In celebration of Women's History Month, The Women's Employment Opportunity Project (WEOP) will host its 6th Annual "From A Woman's Perspective", symposium scheduled for March 23, 2012 at Atlanta Technical College from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. About 200 women will gather to hear from professional business experts, enjoy inspirational speakers, network with other progressive women, and be uplifted by local community leaders. Come join us and become empowered!
The featured keynote speaker will be Emmy-nominated television personality Judge Penny Brown Reynolds. In addition to her law experience, Judge Reynolds serves as a commentator for issues related to politics, religion, children and women. Myrna Moore, WSB-TV, Public Affairs Coordinator, Writer/Producer for People 2 People will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies. Other featured speakers include marketing expert, Celest Turner, President of Turner Marketing & Consulting. Ms. Turner will spearhead a morning work session focusing on finding your inner success.
A highlight of the day will be The afternoon roundtable sessions hosted by twelve phenomenal women including Angela Rice, AIB Television; Tina Douglas, CBS Radio; Dr. Deborah Porter, Porter's Transportation, Charlotte Johnson with The Small Business Administration (SBA), Chi T. Mathias, Mathias and Associates and Dr. Valerie Vann, Direct Business Response.
