West Coast Crab And Jazz Opens Labor Day Weekend in Oakland
Online, May 5, 2012 (Newswire.com) - What's New at the West Coast Crab and Jazz Festival
This year West Coast Crab and Jazz Festival is excited to be adding even more elements to the event for festival-goers to enjoy...Namely the Wine, Beer and Spirits! New to this year's event is our partnership with many Bay Area wineries. As well this year guests at the premiere gala will be treated to "bottomless wine", along with an amazing concert lineup and of course all the Crab they "care to taste". The crab may come from Maryland but The wines are all ours!
Shunammite Group, the organizer of the annual seafood festival announced today that a percentage of the proceeds will go to Feed Oakland one of several new community non-profit groups that enrich the festival overall, while benefiting the programs they serve. Feed Oakland's main mIssion is just what it's name says. The community program is designed to boost financial aid to Oakland Food Pantries directly. With Oakland's economy on a vast decline Feed Oakland is the answer to Oakland operating in self-suffiency. It is the endeavor of the Festival team along with its many sponsors to raise awareness and funds for hunger.
The festival kicks off with the pre-fest gala, Saturday, September 01, 2012 at the Kaiser Rooftop Garden. For event information visit www.jazzandcrab.com or call the box office at 1-888-71-TICKETS. The pre sale event begins May 05,2012.
Vendor space is available but is limited. Interested companies should contact the West Coast jazz and Crab Association before June, 30, 2012. Companies seeking to sponsor the gala event should contact [email protected].
