What Is Your Life Worth: How Much Do You Value Your Life ?
Online, August 28, 2012 (Newswire.com) - According to a recent poll most Americans don't consider the possibility of a random act of violence against them or one of there family members to be possible let alone likely. The statistic's on the other hand show a far different picture, that the likelihood of a major violent crime or medical emergency is better than a one in four chance over the next five years.
As we see civil unrest and destabilization of countries around the world and our own United States economy well, murky at best. One has to ask when are people going to wake up and realize that life is no longer about Mayberry. Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet got consumed and replaced by Olympic Trampoline, Pink Slime, Starbucks and Hyundai. The world is not what it was 25 years ago, nor are the people in it. In 2012 most people can eek out good health until about 80 years old but then although you may see it 90 or older the quality of life will deteriorate every years after on average. Then to make it to 90 what kind of drugs with whatever kind of side effects does one need to take. Just look at insulin, or statins for example
