Fox's Super Bowl Spot for Blue Sky's Animated Comedy 'Rio'
You did not feel it in here...!" 20th Century Fox has just debuted their new Super Bowl TV spot online (via Apple) for the upcoming animated adventure-comedy Rio, starring the voices of: Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, Jemaine Clement, Rodrigo Santoro, Jamie Foxx, Will i Am, George Lopez and Leslie Mann. Nothing too out of the ordinary here, just the typical fun TV spot introducing this movie to as many audiences as they can. I still prefer that fantastic musical two-minute opener, which everyone should watch if they're excited for this. Otherwise, check out the spot below or watch the full trailer here. Have fun in Rio!
Breathtaking Super Bowl Spot for J.J. Abrams' 'Super 8'
Holy crap! Paramount debuted this Super Bowl TV spot for J.J. Abrams' Super 8 during the game and it looks absolutely superb - like E.T. meets Stand By Me. All we'd seen for this sci-fi thriller previously was a very interesting teaser trailer last year that didn't even feature any cast. Super 8 stars first-time kid actors Zach Mills, Ryan Lee, Joel Courtney, as well as a few bigger names: Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Noah Emmerich, Ron Eldard and Amanda Michalka. This truly has an old school Amblin feel to it and I just love it. It's one of my most anticipated movies this summer and I'm fully sucked into the mystery of it, too.
'Captain America: The First Avenger' Super Bowl Spot
It is time. Paramount and Marvel Studios have officially launched their Super Bowl TV spot online via Yahoo for Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger, essentially our first look and the very first trailer for this comic book movie, directed by Joe Johnston. The cast includes Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Hugo Weaving as Red Skull, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan and Toby Jones as Arnim Zola. This is the first bit of footage we've been waiting to see for a while, so dive right in! Then let us know what you think?
Epic 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' Super Bowl Spot
Paramount debuted the official Super Bowl TV spot on MichaelBay.com for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Michael Bay's third Transformers movie. We all saw that awesome moon landing teaser trailer last year, but this time we actually get to see some real footage and it looks awesome, as I expected. I know Bay has a lot to live up to after the last one, but I'm excited. The cast includes many of the same: Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro; as well as: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, John Malkovich, Patrick Dempsey, Frances McDormand and Alan Tudyk. Watch the Transformers Super Bowl spot below!
'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' Super Bowl Spot
Disney has just debuted an extended Super Bowl TV Spot online on for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth adventure-filled Pirates movie hitting theaters in glorious 3D this summer. On Stranger Tides is directed by Rob Marshall and includes in the cast: Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow again, along with Geoffrey Rush, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Stephen Graham, Judi Dench, Gemma Ward and Astrid Berges-Frisbey. Below you'll find Disney's extended 60-second spot which was posted online in addition to the 30 sec spot. Watch the first teaser trailer and/or check out the full TV spot below!
Fantastic Super Bowl Spot for Marvel's 'Thor' Arrives Online
Paramount launched the Super Bowl TV spot for Marvel's Thor online on Yahoo after its debut during the big game. Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh, stars Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Tom Hiddleston as the mysterious Loki, as well as Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson and Rene Russo. I know the reaction to the first official trailer was fairly mediocre, but I think it looks awesome, and this spot gives us just a quick glimpse at how much epic action there will be in this. I'm really looking forward to it. Check out the Super Bowl spot in high def!
Badass New 'Battle: Los Angeles' Super Bowl TV Spot!
Sony has just released on Facebook the brand new TV spot for Jonathan Liebesman's Battle: Los Angeles that ran before the big game today. If you didn't catch it before, it is definitely worth watching now! Battle: Los Angeles stars Aaron Eckhart along with Michelle Rodriguez and Bridget Moynahan. This is one movie coming up in spring that I already can't wait to see in theaters, I think it looks a totally badass, sci-fi action movie, and the more we see, the better it gets. The latest official trailer arrived back in January, and we all know how awesome that looked, so fire up this Super Bowl spot for Battle: LA and hold your breath!
Favreau's Awesome 'Cowboys & Aliens' Super Bowl TV Spot!
"What the hell... They're coming back!" Oh hell yes! Universal has decided to sneak debut their Super Bowl TV spot for Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens online via a mention from @Jon_Favreau. We saw the first teaser trailer for Cowboys & Aliens - starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde - late last year, but this new TV spot is a HUGE step up. Lots more action, lots more aliens, this really looks fantastic, I'm very excited for it! This western-sci-fi mash-up also stars Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, Noah Ringer & Clancy Brown. I would watch this for Olivia Wilde alone, but the alien fights look fun, too. Enjoy!
