Which will be the most positive country in the world?

Daily Positive (D+) is a web-based news media which exclusively publishes positive news on each country of the world. D+ is organizing the World's Most Positive Countries 2011 (WMPC'11) initiative to reveal and award 10 most positive countries around the globe with highest positivity index in 2011.

The list will be revealed on 1 November 2011 and the award ceremony will be held on 25 November 2011 at The University of Melbourne, Australia. It is expected that the audience will feature approximately 100 individuals including country ambassadors, industry representatives, academics, researchers, students, D+ fans and volunteers.

The D+'s Positivity Index is to quantify positive achievements, initiatives and actions accomplished by each country of the world. Each country will be assigned a score and ranked based on the following factors:
1. External expert panel rating.
2. Global D+ volunteer-journalist panel rating.
3. D+ social media fan rating.
4. Higher rating for most visited country pages on D+.
5. Higher rating for most visitors (from each country) on D+ in search of positivity.
6. Country page with most number of positive news where current news weighted higher than historical news.
7. Higher rating for equal distribution of positive news throughout the year.

The final scores will be calculated from individual score of each of the above mentioned factors to provide an overall rating of 1-10, 1 is considered the most positive country and 10 is considered tenth most positive country.

The competition is intense and the excitement is growing. The WMPC'11 event is the first of its kind in the world and everyone can have their say by
1. Simply visiting D+.
2. Sharing positive news about the countries on D+ or at [email protected].
3. Joining http://www.facebook.com/dailypositive and attending the poll to vote for the favorite countries.
