Why Two Official Versions in Just Two Days?
Online, August 25, 2012 (Newswire.com) - DVDFab 8.2.0.5 Qt Supports CUDA 3.0 Graphics Card to Speed Things Up
Fengtao Software, on August 23, released an updated official version of its all-in-one software package for multimedia solutions, DVDFab 8.2.0.5 Qt for Windows platform and, DVDFab 8.2.0.5 for Mac OS.
Generally speaking, there were no major differences between the upgraded 8.2.0.5 Qt and 8.2.0.5 for Mac, except for only two minor things, one was that developers added new support to CUDA 3.0 graphics card, like NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M, to accelerate converting speed in 8.2.0.5 Qt for Windows edition. How about Mac version? Maybe adding CUDA into DVDFab for Mac is on the developer's wish list. The other difference was that a problem appeared in 8.2.0.0 Qt that both beta and official versions were shown in Control Panel at same time was eliminated in 8.2.0.5 Qt.
Apart from these two minor differences, developers added some other new features and fixed same problems occurred both in last Windows and Mac builds. More specifically, they added supports in both DVD Copy and Blu-ray Copy sections to back up two latest movies which were currently very popular among movie fans. And in Blu-ray Copy part, an oversize problem when copying regular Blu-ray discs showed up in version 8.2.0.0 was now fixed in 8.0.2.5. Another long-time scanning problem, when analyzing certain 3D Blu-ray disc, was improved significantly. In 2D to 3D Converter component, developers phased out a crash problem which appeared at the end of conversion process.
DVDFab 8.2.0.6 Released Just One Day Later
Just one day later, Fengtao Software rolled out another new official version 8.2.0.6 for both Windows and Mac platform. Why two builds in such a short notice? According to their official website, the only reason for releasing 8.2.0.6 Qt and 8.2.0.6 for Mac was to back up more new movies, just as they stated repeatedly in the past that DVDFab would be updated in time to help customers deal with new movies. And DVDFab Team did exactly as what they promised. No wonder they got such a vast majority of faithful followers, seemed that they had learned the fine art how to keep fans stay tuned.
