Wimmer Prepares For Bristol With New Sponsors Preval and Anderson's Maple Syrup

Nascar driver Scott Wimmer and his #40 Key Motorsports team heads into fourth round of the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series season.

Nascar driver Scott Wimmer and his #40 Key Motorsports team heads into fourth round of the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series season needing to create some momentum after the Las Vegas round where the team finished in 33rd position with an engine failure. On the season Wimmer currently sits 23rd in Driver Championship Points, but usually Bristol is good medicine for Wimmer. In his past eight starts Wimmer has amassed four Top-10's, six Top-20's and one pole position, with an average finish of 12th.

"Bristol has always been good to me, and one of my favorite tracks, I always seem to run strong there. The team is focusing this weekend on the engine reliability, the car otherwise has been really good this year," said Wimmer. "I know that we can be a Top-15 team each time out, we're just working through some new car gremlins. It really isn't something that some sponsorship can't solve and this weekend we're proud to add on some companies backing us."

The companies that Wimmer refers to are two new Marketing Partners to the Key Motorsports team in professional grade spray gun manufacturer Preval based out of Chicago, IL and Wisconsin's Anderson's Maple Syrup. Key Motorsports owner Curtis Key is happy to have both companies on board this weekend and the possibility of more to come. The 2011 season has been and continues to be an intense season both on and off track so far and the intensity continues to grow as the season goes forward.

"It's always hard to get the right sponsors on board, they are the lifeblood of any team, and up till now have been funding the whole operation personally which takes its toll" said Curtis Key. "We're happy that we get to roll out two new ones in the same week, we look forward to supporting these companies marketing efforts this weekend, and the potential to work with them going forward."

Preval is named after The Precision Valve Corporation, a global leader and manufacturer of valve technology. Preval is now a part of Nakoma Products. Their other brands include Endust and Behold. Preval is built to deliver consistent, professional spray results. Preval is sold in almost every hardware and paint store in America and is made in Coal City, Illinois.

Anderson's Maple Syrup, Inc. has been a family run and organized business for over 80 years. The company was started as a hobby to put extra syrup on the table but has today become an industry leader.
