Win Free Entry into a 2011 Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Tournament

Online, June 1, 2011 (Newswire.com) - With busy schedules and calendars filling up, we know you have a variety of golf opportunities available to you this summer; however, many of you have decided to participate in various tournaments across the southeast with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. We would love to know why you have selected the HJGT as your premier junior tour. That is why we are introducing the first ever Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Epic Video Contest in which you have the opportunity to explain how the HJGT has helped you in your growth as a golfer and why competing in the HJGT has been a competitive and exciting experience. This is your time to tell others why they, too, should participate in the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour!

The contest will be open from Wednesday, June 1 thru Thursday, June 30. Players are encouraged to be as creative and unique as possible in making their videos; however, in the video, participants must include the following:

Your name
Your age
Where you're from
How long you have been with the tour
How many tournaments you have played in
Your favorite part about competing in the HJGT
How the HJGT has helped you in your growth as a golfer
After creating your video that is no longer than 2 minutes in length, you must upload your video to our Facebook fan page. This can be done by uploading the video from a computer or from a Smartphone. Instructions for each method are as follows:

Upload your video to a computer
From your computer, upload your video to YouTube
From YouTube, copy and paste the URL link of your video to our Facebook fan page
To find the fan page, search "Hurricane Junior Golf Tour"
Note: you must "like" the page to have access to posting your video to our wall

After the deadline on Thursday, June 30, all videos will be reviewed by the HJGT staff. Videos will be judged on both creativity and how well the directions provided above were followed. Remember, the main goal is to have fun in making your video and to be as innovative as possible. The winner will be announced on our Facebook page on Tuesday, July 5. The winner of the HJGT Epic Video Contest will receive free entry to a 36-hole tournament within the 2011 season.
