Wireless Vision Donates Over 7,000 Backpacks Market-Wide
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., August 28, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Wireless Vision, T-Mobile’s largest retail partner, has donated over 7,000 backpacks during this back-to-school season. Throughout the year, the Wireless Vision organization commits to serving the communities they are in with backpack giveaways, community clean-ups, clothing drives, raising money for important causes, helping the hungry, and much more.
During the back to school time frame, Wireless Vision partners with the Kids in Need Foundation to help students get ready for the school year giving a backpack to each student. These schools are in need of funds and materials. The team hosts an event at each of these schools with the help of Wireless Vision employees who volunteer their time.
To date, Wireless Vision has donated over 30,000 backpacks since 2012. This initiative launched their social responsibility program Wireless Vision’s Got Your Back (#WVGYB).
CEO Saber Ammori is very passionate about the WVGYB program, "Giving back is part of who we are. One of our core values is 'Passion for our People' and that doesn’t stay within our store walls. We are passionate about our employees, customers, and our communities."
