Witch Trinity Takes a Break in Sainsbury's Cafe
Online, May 11, 2012 (Newswire.com) - When the doors of the supermarket closed to shoppers Sainsbury's Moortown branch kindly opened them again to give a much needed boost to Yorkshire based film makers, 2b Acting, helping them in the making of their new supernatural series Witch Trinity.
The Witch Trinity cast which includes notable actors such as Darren John Langford who played in Hollyoaks and Naomi Millbank-Smith who appeared on Channel 4's Shipwrecked (TV) series plus the crew and extras were made really welcomed and supported during the filming with attentive onsite supervision and full use of the cafe facilities in capturing the scenes for the first two episodes of the show.
"Access to good locations is one of the biggest difficulty we face as small independent producers and that's why we are so grateful to Sainsbury", says David Jones, Witch Trinity's Director. "We posted on 'facebook' our need for a cafe / bar scene for the characters to take a break from a shopping spree and it was an unbelievable surprise when Sainsbury's Moortown made contact."
Witch Trinity introduces fantastic characters with their hopes, challenges and dangers. Newly engaged, Serena and Simon are excited for their future. But while Simon works on convincing his mother that Serena is right for him, it is doubtful if Serena can juggle the demands of her daily reporter job with the alarming discovery that she is one of the three most powerful witches, known as Witch Trinity. As the two other witches of the trio, Shorn and Delf, struggle to understand why Witch Trinity has been called, an unexpected challenge comes from a witch they call 'The Crow', threatening their lives and the fate of the world. On "National News" the story of missing women leads Shorn, Delf and Serena into real danger as they are forced to do battle with a formidable opponent. And in the background lurks a silent and unknown onlooker. Will he be their greatest threat? Witch Trinity is a fantastic fast paced journey into the challenges that come with the quest for survival and the first two episodes mark the start of an exciting new UK series.
The scenes shot at the cafe will be released on Special Edition DVD later this year. The DVD will include the first two episodes from the six part Series One plus DVD Extra Content: Including cast interviews, the making of feature, Cast pictures, Outtake Scenes and a Gag Reel.
