Wockhardt Foundation & Giants Group unite for an Awareness Campaign

Online, May 7, 2010 (Newswire.com) - At the break of Dawn on 1st May 2010 Maharashtra day, our little brave hearts battled out the sweltering May heat and were on their skates from dawn to evening, for spreading awareness among various masses for Saving the Girl Child & also another social issue concerning the National Security of our very own Mumbai city. Wockhardt Foundation & Giants group expressed their solidarity with our little brave hearts for this noble cause.

Wockhardt Foundation & Giants Group, who supported the young guns under the age group of 5 to 7 whole heartedly, by providing them the required medical aid & invigorating nutritional supplements, organized the event. The Mobile Health Reach Van comprising of the dedicated team of outstanding warriors, Chief Warrior Saifuddin Barodawala & Dr. Shailesh Nangare, Wockhardt Foundation were monitoring the progress of these young warriors, skating for a noble cause, made sure that our brave hearts were provided with the supplies right from Thane check-naka which was the starting point till the Gateway of India where it concluded.

Leading Fashion Designer Shaina N.C & Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi graced the occasion and appreciated the initiative taken by our little champs for spreading awareness on social issues that are burning in our society. Hats off to our Young Champions who covered the distance of 65 kilometers in the sweltering may heat, for a noble cause.
