On the occasion of World AIDS Day, December 1, 2013, AlphaOne in association with Fortis Escorts Hospital and Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI) organized free effective peer educational programs to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS for the people of Amritsar. A team of 6 doctors and counselors held a quiz contest about HIV/AIDS awareness on November 30th plus skits + a signature campaign by theatre artists were conducted on December 1st. A Rally was also organized on December 1st morning at Company Bagh where over 2000 people participated. The awareness campaign was aimed to strengthen and spread the existing setup of facilities available in Government and Private Hospitals for the treatment and to increase awareness, improve education about HIV/AIDS, as well as to set aside and combat prejudices that are associated with the condition.

The Rally with an objective to educate youngsters and support the cause was flagged off by Mr. Anil Joshi, Minister, Local Bodies and Medical Education & Research, Punjab Government, Dr. Pinak Moudgil, Director, Fortis Escorts, Amritsar, Mr. Mukesh Shelat, Principal, Millennium School, Mr. Harkawal Singh, International Skater. The Rally included students of Millennium School, SV Memorial College of Nursing and New Gobind School of Nursing, Fortis Escort's team, Alfaz Acting Academy and Amritsar Sparkling - Be The Change Club members.

In the evening, skits on AIDS awareness were enacted by artists from Sai Arts and Alfaz Arts Academy. Sardar Manmohan Singh Kang, SDM Zone 2, Amritsar, Mr. Rameshwar Dutt Sharma, Judge, Consumer Court, Taran Taaran, Mrs. Swaraj Grover, Social Activist and National Award Winner, along with many others enjoyed the skits at AlphaOne.

An awareness campaign for Safe Driving was also organized at AlphaOne by Nissan Motors on December 1st.
