Online, January 9, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Australia based game enthusiasts Jessica Gabriel and Bill Harb have come up with a new and exciting game - World Beater that is scheduled to be launched soon. World Beater is a casual game aimed at entertaining gamers who enjoy playing light and stress free games to keep themselves occupied.
The game revolves around its main character, a camel, who aims to run across the desert, to reach an oasis. On the way, the camel has to overcome several obstacles and collect sufficient water barrels to keep him going.
Jessica wanted to give her players amotivating story and a comical yet interesting game to keep their spirits high while at the same time, help the camel negotiate difficult situations to reach his destination. "The desert scene is our first story, we will be shortly introducing other landscapes as well," she said
World Beater features a camel, which is at one end of the desert. He has to start his journey from there; cross the desert passing through desert cities, old monuments, sand dunes and the vast and open desert to reach the oasis. The game begins with the camel running out of an old monument into the desert, and the player has to guide him to cross two milestones and reach the destination. The first milestone is a City and the second one is a monument. Every time the camel crosses a milestone, he is given a power-up in the form of a magic lamp. Each magic lamp, when activated gives the camel an extra life.
To cross the various milestones, the camel has to overcome hurdles like snakes, cacti and quick sand; by either jumping over it or flying over them. "That's right! To add to the comical nature of the game, we have come up with wings to let the camel fly over obstacles."
Users have to acquire wings by grabbing them as they appear along the way. All this has to be done without stepping out of the pathway or else the vultures would attack. Also to keep the Camel going the user has to collect sufficient barrels of water. Water is the elixir that keeps the camel charged.
The game is expected to hit the markets soon this year and will be available on the iOS platform. The team is looking forward to seeing World Beater; find a place as a popular casual game that entertains beyond age and demographics.
