As a prelude to the festive season, World Kitchen LLC, the global leader in the kitchenware industry hosted a delectable dessert cookout with PFMI Neha Hinge (Ms. India International 2010) and Chef Sadu Shettigar at Hypercity, Malad today.

"The festive season is a time where people indulge in themselves and satisfy all their cravings for sweets. Our cookware is strong, durable and can be used both on the stove as well as in the microwave/oven. This makes it ideal for preparing festive delicacies. Moreover, our dinnerware is available in bright, varied colors adding to the season's gaiety." Said Rajesh Mishra, Country Head of World Kitchen

Neha Hinge and Chef Sadu Shettigar, Master Pastry Chef of Rodas Hotel teamed up to prepare two mouthwatering desserts- Choco-Nut Melt and Florentine Coconut Fruit Basket.

Chef Sadu placed the Corningware glass casserole directly on top of the fire and Neha stirred the thick chocolate to create a light texture. When asked if this casserole would break, Mr. Mishra said, "Corningware is an all in one casserole, made of a revolutionary material. It can be placed directly from freezer to stove to table. It can withstand extreme temperatures"

The fruits were then stewed in the amber colored Visions cookpot so that the Chef and Neha could keep an eye on the liquid so that it would not spill over.

Neha then kneaded the dough for the fruit basket while the Chef heated the oven to place the Corelle Light casserole in to bake. The dough was pressed into the surface and on lifting the casserole for baking, Neha commented, "This dish is as light as a feather! I have never baked in such a light casserole."

After both desserts were prepared, Chef Sadu and Neha garnished and presented them on the Corelle dinnerware to the audience who were drawn in by the sugary aroma of the delicacies.

"This cook-out was a lot of fun. World Kitchen has some fascinating products. The dishes are strong, easy to carry, dependable, hygienic and to top it all they are extremely stylish." stated Neha Hinge.

"I strongly believe in the values that these products represent and highly recommend them to all aspiring cooks." she added.
