World Leaders and Royalty at the Triumphant 4th GOD Awards United Nations, NY

We Care for Humanity's 4th Annual G.O.D. Awards honored a plethora of high profile personalities at the United Nations, NY attended by heads of states, royalty, global humanitarians, UN representatives and international delegations from more than 20 countries.

 The much awaited 3 day-flagship events of We Care for Humanity (WCH), the 3rd WCH Humanitarian Summit and 4th G.O.D. Awards culminated with great triumph on August 19, 2016 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York with unprecedented array of honorees, speakers, presenters, performers and VIP guests from around the world! The WCH events were graciously hosted by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Benin to the United Nations.

Among the big names and personalities who graced the event were His Highness Prince Faisal Al Saud-member of the House of Saud of KSA; His Excellency Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka- immediate former Vice President of Kenya; Her Excellency Rosalia Arteaga Serrano- Former President and Vice President of Ecuador; His Excellency Khil Raj Regmi, Former Prime Minister and Chief Justice of Nepal; Binod Chaudhary- the first and only Billionaire of Nepal; His Excellency Ambassador Jean Francis Zinsou- Permanent Representative of the Republic of Benin to the United Nations and many representatives from the UN and UN Women, office of Hon. Senator Kevin Parker and Hon. Senator David Carlucci.

Princess Maria Amor Torres, founder, president of WCH and the creator, chairman of the Global Officials of Dignity Awards announced, “This year marks the 4th Global Officials of Dignity Awards event.  I am proud of how far this organization has grown, but there is still much work ahead for all of us,” she continued, “How fitting that our location for tonight’s awards gala is in the United Nations building, which represents global cooperation. Every person present tonight is a hero, someone who has passion, courage and determination. Every honored individual has made a difference to humanity in the areas of human rights, peace, environment, education, health & wellness and empowering those who are less fortunate. The awards also recognized His Highness Prince Dah Djissa Houetchenou, Prime Minister of the Highest King of Benin and Her Highness Princess Pulcherie Simpson the Amazon Princess of Abomey, Benin for their humanitarian contributions to their country.

World class performances were the highlights of the evening, starting with Frank Haye and the Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir, direct from Switzerland; Angelo Borer and the Crazy Feet Company; soprano Rachel Hippert; legendary headliners, Alston Koch, Morris Hayes, R & B singer Ida Divine and masters of ceremony: 2016 Miss New York- Serena Bucaj and actor-singer-poet, Jacob Wheeler.

Awards were presented by Chief Guest- Prince Faisal; H.H. Prince Arthur Louis Pagan; HH Princess Edith Ortiz {of the Diplomatic Residence of the House of Homestead}; Nubiasian Princess Her Highness Sirene Harakawa’Ra; Dr. Ken Hansraj; Ben Lai; Ambassador Anthony Chima; Bishop Joy Theriot; Rev. Dileepkumar Thankappan. Also presenting were the delegation of the OSJ Knights of Malta -Sir Norbert Chung; Sir Murthy Gokula M.D.; Sir Col. Wilson Ariza M.D.; Sir Dan Carlin M. Harmonizing with United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), the 3rd WCH Humanitarian Summit successfully executed its 2-day conference chaired by Benin Ambassador, H.E. Jean Francis Zinsou with an outstanding list of Speakers under the theme “Sustainable Innovations Towards Sustainable Humanitarianism”.
