Max Mara Takes the Lead with the Theme "It's Time to Claim Our #POWhER" for International Women's Day 2023 and Women's History Month.

Today, in celebration of International Women's Day and Women's History Month, the World Woman Foundation is delighted to announce Max Mara as the Global Fashion Partner for the fourth annual edition of World Woman Hour, a compelling series spotlighting female leaders worldwide. The fourth edition of World Woman Hour's theme, "It's Time to Claim Our #POWhER," underscores women's resolve to outdo clichés, overturn rules, and overcome obstacles to lead with POWhER. This campaign highlights a distinguished group of world-class leaders and their audacious ideas for transforming the world, aiming to educate, empower, and engage future female leaders as Go-getters, Groundbreakers, and Game-changers.

World Woman Foundation and Max Mara, as the Global Fashion Partner, will host four in-store events raising awareness around women's role in building the new future in Chicago (March 7), New York (March 19 & 21), and Los Angeles  (March 28). For more than 70 years, Max Mara has transformed into a trailblazing Italian fashion brand that perfectly captures the essence of womanhood and is deeply dedicated to fostering women's empowerment. The sales proceeds are to be donated to the World Woman Mentorship Program. On March 31, global leaders from 20+ countries will attend the World Woman Hour screening during the Women History Month Annual Event hosted by the World Woman Foundation at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. Join the forum on March 31 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by the World Woman Hero Awards and reception from 6:00 p.m. onwards at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

These dynamic women encompass high achievers in science, health, business, arts, and media.
