World's Top-Ranked Player Buys iCOMBAT Waukesha

New Leadership in the New Year for iCOMBAT's Original Field

Today, iCOMBAT Waukesha was sold to a group of local investors led by iCOMBAT’s top-ranked player in the world, 6sN7s, ensuring continued fun for thousands of tactical laser tag enthusiasts in southeastern Wisconsin.

“We really hadn’t planned on ever selling our original tactical laser tag field in Waukesha but then the world’s top-ranked player made us an offer we couldn’t refuse,” said Rick Jensen, President of iCOMBAT Extreme, which manufactures iCOMBAT’s industry-leading tactical laser tag equipment and developed three playing fields, including the Waukesha location. “6sN7s has played in thousands of battles at iCOMBAT Waukesha. He has always dominated this field - and now he actually owns it!”

The sale will allow Jeremy Watson and his fellow investors - Michael Gilmore and Dustin Stern - who also are regular players at iCOMBAT Waukesha to use their expertise and enthusiasm for tactical laser tag to deliver the best possible experience for players on the original iCOMBAT testing field. ICOMBAT Waukesha will be open for play at the usual hours and prices using the world’s best laser tag equipment. They will also continue to accept any gift cards or coupons issued under the previous ownership.

iCOMBAT Extreme, the parent company that developed both the laser tag equipment and the Waukesha field, will continue to use iCOMBAT Waukesha’s field for testing new equipment and conducting tours for equipment customers from around the world. iCOMBAT Extreme will continue to operate two other laser tag fields in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, and Schiller Park, Illinois. The sale will free up company employees to provide a higher level of support for the more than 1,000 laser tag fields using iCOMBAT technology around the world and speed the introduction of new industry-leading laser tag equipment in the coming year.

In 2019, iCOMBAT Extreme introduced the irShotgun. In 2020, they will be unveiling the irSAW and a new mobile laser tag solution. In addition, they are constantly introducing new games for players and new services for its business customers.

The 15,000-square-foot iCOMBAT Waukesha facility features a movie set of a Middle-Eastern city with more than 30 one- and two-story buildings, a city square with a fountain, and a road with vehicles. iCOMBAT Waukesha is located at 1023 Spring City Drive just off Sunset Drive and next to the Shoppes at Fox River Mall.
