Online, April 4, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Sonic Emotion, the sole developer of Absolute 3D sound entertainment, launched its first 3D sound enhancement mobile application for iOS in January 2012. Earning rave reviews from media and consumers alike, the Headquake® mobile app automatically syncs to users' existing iTunes music database to provide consumers the opportunity to listen to any stereo content in a natural environment with Absolute 3D sound. Since its launch, Headquake has been downloaded more than 40,000 times, achieved a 4.5 star rating and is already ranked 39 among the top 100 music apps on iTunes. Today, Sonic Emotion is proud to announce the second generation of its sound defining mobile application, Headquake version 1.2.
Created for the iOS 5 platform, Headquake version 1.2 provides users the opportunity to customize their listening experience by selecting their headphones of choice and highlighting them on a personalization screen which sits atop the left side navigation bar. Additionally, the second generation includes: a search bar in the media browser which allows users to find songs categorically by album, artist, composer and genre; automatic media library and browser synching; scrolling display information during use and while locked; added handling of multi-discs and iTunes match files; and remote transport (play, pause, forward, back) for lock screen controls. Additionally, a portion of proceeds from Headquake version 1.2 will be donated to the Help Me Hear Foundation which works to give the gift of sound to underprivileged children around the world.
"The success of Headquake's first generation app reaffirmed our commitment to educating consumers on Absolute 3D sound through innovative, quality technology," said Rajeev Kapur, CEO of Sonic Emotion. "The new updates in Headquake version 1.2 offer the best Absolute 3D listening experience on the go."
