Online, November 28, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Book Drum's mission is to bring great books to life by going beyond the page. As a first step, we're building Profiles for more than 500 classic titles.
Book Drum needs writers and editors, and we're running a Tournament until 31st of January to find them. First prize is £1,000, and we're offering job interviews to the best entrants.
The author Hector Macdonald is one of the web site founders. Hector is the author of bestseller The Mind Game, which was translated into 20 languages and optioned by the producers of Harry Potter. His other novels are The Storm Prophet and The Hummingbird Saint. He grew up on the coast of Kenya, and has at various times set up home on five continents. He now lives in London, but still suffers from an endless need to travel the world in order to read good books in new places.
