Wow! Science Camp Announces Dates for the 2011 Science Camp

Wow! Science Camp, a nonprofit summer science camp, has announced the dates for the 2011 camp season. Camp will begin on June 27 and run for eight weeks.

The 2011 camp will begin on June 27 and end on August 19, 2011. Camp will operate from 9 AM to 4 PM on weekdays with early drop off and late pick up options. Wow! Science Camp® is closed on weekends and July 4th to observe Independence Day.

In addition to fun, age-appropriate science experiments and projects, math lessons and math games, review of money management skills, and etiquette lessons, Wow! Science Camp® has added four new destinations to its list of thrilling field trips:

The Statue of Liberty, NY
The Crayola® Factory, PA
Hershey® Factory Tour, PA
The Planetarium, NJ
One field trip is taken each week throughout the eight weeks of camp.

A review of up to four hundred STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers has also been added to the science curricula.

Camp is open to children between the ages of five and fourteen. Up to 10 percent sibling credit is available. Family and Sponsor Referral Discounts are also available.

A second camp location has also been added. Families in Cherry Hill and the surrounding communities will be able to attend camp at Camden Catholic High School, 300 Cuthbert Boulevard, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.

Registration will close on March 31, 2011.
