Wrap & Send Services Wins 2015 Emerald Award for Sustainability in Packaging

Emerald Brand has proudly announced Wrap & Send Services as the winner of the annual 2015 Emerald Award for Sustainability in the Packaging Category. Through the Emerald Sustainability Program, Wrap & Send and its clients, Une Belle Vie, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue, have made a substantial environmental achievement in 13 locations across the country by using Emerald's 100 percent recycled corrugated boxes, tissue paper and other packaging necessities.

Emerald Brand has proudly announced Wrap & Send Services as the winner of the annual 2015 Emerald Award for Sustainability in the Packaging Category. Through the Emerald Sustainability Program, Wrap & Send and its clients, Une Belle Vie, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue, have made a substantial environmental achievement in 13 locations across the country by using Emerald’s 100 percent recycled corrugated boxes, tissue paper and other packaging necessities.


Through the Program, Wrap & Send, Bloomingdales, and Saks Fifth Avenue successfully saved 2,776 trees, diverted 539 pounds of landfill waste, saved 1,143,369 gallons of water, 653,354 kilowatt hours of electricity, and reduced 163 equivalent tons of carbon dioxide in 2015. With Emerald’s help, these socially responsible companies have provided consumers with innovative and sustainable packaging while still incorporating their well-known luxury packaging efforts.

The Emerald Sustainability Program provides participants with annual Environmental Impact Statements that calculate how many trees, gallons of water, pounds of landfill waste, electricity, plastic, and carbon dioxide participants have saved by using Emerald products over traditional, non-sustainable materials. The 2015 winners in the Distribution, Facilities, Food Service, and Hospitality sectors will be announced in the coming weeks.​
