Wyant Named Director of Ag Science for Heliae® Agriculture
GILBERT, Ariz., November 6, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Chief Revenue Officer of Heliae® Agriculture, N.R. (Norm) Davy announces the hiring of Dr. Karl Wyant as the Director of Ag Science. Wyant previously spent over five years at Helena Agri-Enterprises first as the desert territory agronomist and then as the Western Division (AZ and CA) lead agronomist.
“Karl Wyant has a wealth of knowledge and experience, spending much of his career and education advancing our understanding of field level nutrient and salinity issues,” said Davy. “We look forward to working with him on the many new developments and opportunities we see going forward.”
Wyant has over 10 years of experience in agriculture science and data analysis. He possesses detailed knowledge of production agriculture as exemplified by earned Arizona and California Pest Control Advisor licenses in addition to Certified Crop Advisor and Certified Professional Agronomist credentials.
Wyant earned a PhD in Biology from the Arizona State University with an emphasis in soil science. He also earned a Master of Science in Soil Ecology from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Northern Colorado.
