Wyless Group Appoints CEO And New VP Of Business Development

Online, March 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Wyless Group, the leading global M2M managed services provider, announced today that it has appointed Dan McDuffie as CEO of the Wyless Group of Companies and Ryan Keefe as VP of Business Development.

Dan McDuffie has been SVP of Wyless North America since its incorporation in 2006. He has grown the company into a leading provider of M2M managed services by leveraging national and global partnerships to build an unrivalled partner ecosystem in the M2M space. He is a principal driver behind the Wyless strategy of an "open platform for a connected world."

Dan brings 22 years of experience in the telecommunications industries to the Wyless team. Previously, he worked in international long-distance communications for companies including Comtel Group and Interoute Communications, the pan-European network operator, where he was VP of Business Development and a member of the board.

Dan has also been named as a member of the Wyless Group board.

Ryan Keefe spent 10 years at T-Mobile USA in various roles including managing VAR Channels and M2M business development. During the last 6 years, Ryan has helped establish the M2M division at T-Mobile as a Partner Account Manager, developing strategic partnerships in all verticals, including location-based services, parking solutions, vending, point of sale, vehicle telematics, smart grid and AMI. In 2009, Ryan was promoted to Business Development Manager, leading T-Mobile's smart grid initiatives nationwide. Ryan worked within several T-Mobile business units to bring turnkey solutions to utilities seeking to leverage existing commercial network infrastructure. In 2009, Ryan was named an M2M Pioneer by Connected World Magazine for his work in the smart grid sector.
