MALÉ, Maldives - Today, Xiosis Pvt. Ltd. announced that the release of the Summer Edition of the company's popular word processor Scribe 2011. The software had initially been set for release on June 2nd but was delayed.

"We are very happy to finally release the software. The Summer Edition contains some exciting new tools for writers. Like the mind mapping tool and the file binder. We were also able to use the delay to implement some features we had planned for later releases. So all in all it was good. We have a lot of customers who have been waiting for the summer release. And I am sure they would be very excited with the new version", said Muhammad Ali, the Director of Research and Development.

The summer edition is a free update to Scribe 2011 and contains several new features such as a mind mapping tool, an improved research tool, a file binder capability which allows writers to embed all their source files into a Scribe document, automatic document recovery and enhanced file export and import capabilities. The company also announced that the update to the Describe OCR engine would be released later.
