XY Wellness Drops PectaSol-C, Upgrades to ImmunoPCTN

The Madison, Wisconsin-based natural supplement company revamps their use of Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP) to reflect a new direction for the company and the Members it serves.

Natural supplement company, XY Wellness, has launched an enhanced, next-generation version of Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP) under the name ImmunoPCTN, and will no longer offer the MCP that is branded as PectaSol-C.

As background, MCP is a dietary supplement derived from citrus pectin that is modified to retain its desired properties, while allowing for better absorption through the digestive tract into the blood stream. Interest in MCP for therapeutic applications is growing due to evidence referenced by the American Cancer Society and others that suggests desirable apoptosis properties.*

"Our goal with ImmunoPCTN was to offer a superior MCP product at a far better price point than ever before," said David Guinther, CEO of XY Wellness. "Our core mission is to help both men and women rebuild their health and quality of life. We strive to be accessible to all, and to us, this means delivering the greatest possible value."

The MCP used in ImmunoPCTN is similar to what is currently marketed in the U.S. as PectaSol-C. Both products utilize a similar enzymatic modification process and use citrus peel sourced from South America. Both products have common heritage in Ernst Thalmann, who currently serves as the Executive President of Yantai Andre Pectin Co. Ltd., a world leader in citrus pectin production.

"Our ImmunoPCTN is a major step forward in the evolution of MCP and we are very pleased to be driving this change," said Dr. Geo Espinosa, Medical Director of XY Wellness. "ImmunoPCTN is a blend of our new MCP, Green Tea Extract and Reishi Mushroom, each working together to deliver valuable antioxidant, immune-stimulant and anti-metastatic support."*

MCP is a promising element in the integrative treatment of prostate and breast health conditions, as it may inhibit the spread of diseases by binding to Galectin molecules and blocking them.

Another ingredient contained in ImmunoPCTN, Green Tea Extract, is widely known for its natural antioxidant properties. Green tea contains polyphenols and other potent antioxidants, including Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which may offer substantial benefits for people with health problems.*

Reishi Mushroom is a popular medicinal mushroom that has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for the prevention and treatment of a variety of diseases. A recent study shows that Reishi Mushroom contains positive immune-stimulating and anti-tumor properties.*

ImmunoPCTN is at the intersection of effectiveness, value and inclusion. In other words: faster, better, cheaper.
