Yampu Tours Approves Of New Machu Picchu Regulations
Online, August 10, 2011 (Newswire.com) - (Stowe, Vermont) Recently, following UNESCO recommendations, Peruvian authorities have placed restrictions on the visitation of Machu Picchu, the lost Incan ruins. As of July 20th, 2011 no more than 2,500 people daily will be allowed to visit the ruins. While these regulations may confine the amount of visitors to the ruins, they are positive and work to ensure a better experience for visitors for centuries to come.
The new regulations for Machu Picchu will enhance your travel experience. In addition to preserving the ruins for centuries to come, the limit will ensure that your visit is spiritual and enjoyable without being overrun by hoards of tourists. Machu Picchu is often an awakening experience for visitors because of its amazing scenery. Overlooking the Andes is conducive to meditation and personal reflection. Here you will be able to see in the outline of the mountains behind Machu Picchu, what appears to be a face of an ancient Inca looking up into the sky.
