Yellowblue Eco Tech Supports F4 Foundation in Drilling of 1,100 Foot Well in Nairobi, Kenya
DES MOINES, Iowa, July 10, 2019 (Newswire.com) - The F4 Foundation, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization focused on rebuilding the foundations of society by promoting faith, family, freedom and fun, has funded the drilling of a 1,100 foot well in Nairobi, Kenya.
Earlier this year, the F4 Foundation took its third trip in four years to Nairobi, Kenya in order to help local orphanages after their well completely dried up in the middle of 2018. After gathering $10,000 in donations, F4’s funding was matched by Betenbough Homes, a home-building company based in Lubbock, Texas. The total funds of $20,000 allowed the F4 Foundation to drill the 1,100 foot well.
“Each of our previous trips has been inspiring, and May’s trip was no different,” Rob Krasawski, Executive Director of the F4 Foundation, said. “The people of Lang'ata, Nakuru, and Bissil were so welcoming and this visit allowed us to experience the tribe in a much more personal way. Our fundraising for this trip allowed us to spend more time with the community than we have in the past and we were able to build wonderful relationships. We want to extend a special thank you to yellowblue™ Eco Tech, yellowblue™ LED, and TruWatch for making this trip the success that it was.”
“We are very proud to support the F4 Foundation, and we are overjoyed to see the success of this trip,” said Billy Cox, CEO of yellowblue™ Eco Tech, a manufacturer of multilayer reflective insulation, solar attic fans, and other innovative eco-technologies. “The May trip was a perfect exemplification of the charity’s mission to rebuild the foundations of society.”
This trip was made possible by F4 Foundation’s partnership with Christian Ministries in Africa, a non-profit organization with ministry programs across East Africa. The Foundation took twelve volunteers who were able to spend time with Maasai tribespeople and take part in the tribe’s everyday life.
The F4 Foundation will continue rebuilding communities through international trips, and it plans to return to Nairobi, Kenya in 2021.
