USA-Gymnastics released their newest, interactive online course, "Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction." A comprehensive introductory course, it covers basic fundamental principles of coaching and teaching gymnastics, including topics such as safety and risk management, all via the Internet. With over 1,800 member clubs and 2,000 sanctioned events per year, USA-Gymnastics is integral in U.S. participation in gymnastics events at the Olympics. Working closely with e-learning partner, AliveTek, Inc., USA-Gymnastics Education bundled hundreds of video examples of gymnastics skills and coaching techniques that members can view and review as often as needed.

"While this organization has been successfully delivering member education via their online university for several years, this course posed a unique problem due to the technical nature of gymnastics fundamentals," said Sandy Mills-Alford, CEO of AliveTek. "We're really proud of the course because it pushes the e-learning envelope by offering detailed training on these very hands-on skills. Using a customized template, this course leverages the power of video to show the specific moves and skills necessary for teaching technical accuracy in gymnastics. We're proud to be part of this big milestone for USA-Gymnastics."
